A well laid wood or laminate floor not only looks great in your home, but will protect the floor and be easy to clean.

Where to use  Plank flooring adds charm to any hall, dining room, or bedroom.  Real wood should be used sparingly in the kitchen or bath, as laminate is a better choice for areas around water.

Types  We carry limited samples of wood and laminate with us because the styles change often.  You are encoraged to pick out your own product from whomever you like.  Your choices are abundant.  You might like traditional maples and oaks, or exotic Brazillian cherrys and teaks. Some of the newer and "greener' products include bamboo and cork.

Installation  Laminates, like engeneered woods can be used on most surfaces, and some may require padding underneath.  Solid harwoods cannot be laid over concrete, and should be avoided in high humidty areas such as kitchens and baths.

Please Note:  You need to have the wood/laminate in the heated or cooled part of your house for at least a full day before we install it.
